CARTOON characters will be running riot at the Odeon in Weston this week in Hoodwinked.The film tells the familiar tale of Little Red Riding Hood from the different viewpoints of the colourful characters involved.Granny (voiced by Glenn Close), the Woodsman (James Belushi) and the Wolf (Patrick Warburton) all have their say about the incident which saw the wolf posing as Granny ready to eat Little Red Riding Hood (Anne Hathaway).Chief Grizzly and Detective Bill Stork are called out to investigate the domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage and the crime fighting duo turn up to find a karate-kicking Red Riding Hood, a sarcastic wolf and an oafish woodsman.Charges against those involved range from breaking and entering, disturbing the peace, intent to eat and wielding an axe without a licence.Another suspect in the disturbance is the Goody Bandit, who has been linked to a number of recipe thefts from goody shops in the district.The police officers have the difficult job of interviewing all those involved and getting to the bottom of the well-known tale.
