FROM the writer of Kidulthood and the director of Three Days comes inspirational sports movie Fast Girls (12A).

The film tells the story of two girls from opposite sides of the tracks socially – streetwise Shania (Being Human’s Lenora Critchlow) and middle class Lisa (Lily James).

They are forced to put their egos to one side when they are both picked for the relay team to represent the UK in the World Athletic Championships, developing into a heart-warming and inspirational journey to possible track glory.

Fast Girls, out tomorrow (Fri), is directed by Regan Hall and co-scripted by Kidulthood writer Noel Clarke.
