SCI-FI blockbuster Looper (15) will have fans jumping out of their seats in an explosive hi-octane thriller that proves you are your own worst enemy.
The film, directed by Rian Johnson, offers thrills and spills with time-travel, assassins and high-speed chases in equal measure.
Bruce Willis stars in the action movie in which his life is turned upside down.
Joseph Simmons is paid by the mafia to transport himself back in time so he can kill targets when they are younger to prevent them causing trouble in the future.
Failure is not an option, with an agent’s inability to complete the job sealing their own grizzly fate.
Set in 2072, 55-year-old Simmons (Willis) is given his latest assignment but after travelling back in time by 30 years he realises his target is somewhat familiar – himself when he is aged 25.
The discovery leaves him stunned knowing he must kill his younger self or face being killed himself by the Looper mafia.
Knocked back by the discovery, the younger Simmons (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) seizes the moment’s hesitation and manages to escape from Willis’ clutches.
With failure not tolerated, the Looper authorities are soon bearing down on the pair as they battle for survival.
The film, also starring Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada and The Five-Year Engagement) and Paul Dano (Cowboys & Aliens), is released tomorrow (Fri).
