SCREEN legend Robert De Niro stars alongside Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy and Elizabeth Olsen in paranormal thriller Red Lights.

Coming from Buried director Rodrigo Cortés, the film stars Weaver as Margaret Matheson, a psychologist with many years of experience who, along with her assistant Tom (Murphy), works tirelessly to expose fraudulent psychics and their scams.

When the legendary blind psychic Simon Silver, played by De Niro, comes out of retirement after 30 years, his once-fearless adversary Matheson warns Buckley to back off, fearing his reprisals.

But determined to discredit Silver, Buckley and his star student (Elizabeth Olsen) use every tool at their disposal to uncover the truth behind the charismatic mind-reader, exposing themselves to danger in the process.

And along the way Buckley is forced to re-examine his own core beliefs as his quest builds to a mind-blowing conclusion.

Out tomorrow (Fri), Red Lights is a psychological thriller where real science comes up against old-fashioned hocus pocus and gets the fright of its life.
