HUGE slugs from outer space and zombies are among the gruesome creatures starring in a film still showing at the Odeon, Weston.Slither is the latest creation from filmmaker James Gunn, creator of Dawn Of The Dead. His latest piece of work is a demented horror comedy overloaded with bugs and giant molluscs.Local businessman Grant (Michael Rooker) and his beautiful wife Starla (Elizabeth Banks) have a large house and lots of money to go with it. But things begin to steer in a sinisterly different direction. One night Grant goes on a big night out and meets Brenda. On a moonlit stroll they discover something horrible in the woods, something which invades Grant's body.Grant becomes less and less human and gradually transforms into a bloodthirsty animal intent on destroying the uninfected.
