TALENTED student filmmakers will be showcasing their work at the Dirigo International Student Film Festival.

The open event is being organised by students from Weston College and Bath Spa University.

It will showcase films made by local and international students at the event in the new year.

Awards will be given out for the best film in the South West and there will be an audience choice award.

Submissions for the festival must be made by January 5 and the showcase will take place at The Cube Cinema, in Bristol, on January 28.
