LAST week's political gaffe by Mitt Romney in the run up to the US presidential elections makes The Campaign (15) all the funnier.
The fast-paced political comedy sees Will Ferrell provide an all-too-lifelike impression of an American congressman who finds himself out of his depth appealing to every voter under the sun.
With Cam Brady (Ferrell) struggling, the initiative is with green newcomer Marty Higgins (Zach Galifianakis) who soon makes clear he is not as perfect as he would like people to believe.
With both parties mud-slinging for all their worth the election campaigns of both go humorously awry.
The Campaign, released tomorrow (Fri) is the latest creation from director Jay Roach (Austin Powers and Meet The Fockers).
