Weston-super-Mare's Odeon is welcoming a film which will take viewers to the Wild West, as action film The Magnificent Seven comes to the big screen.
The American film, which is directed by Antoine Fuqua, is a remake of the popular 1960 film of the same name.
The story follows seven outlaws who are enlisted by a small town to protect its people against the industrial siege of Bartholomew Bogue.
The corporate villain terrorises the farmers in hopes of driving them from their land.
The outlaws include a bounty hunter, a gambler, a Confederate soldier and an assassin, who fight to prepare to defend the town in a violent confrontation.
However, upon meeting the town’s residents, the seven find themselves fighting for more than just money.
Set in the 1870s shortly after the American Civil War, the film promises high-stake action scenes and a number of gruesome fights and shoot outs.
The action blockbuster boasts an all-star cast including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Haley Bennett, Ethan Hawke and Vincent D’Onofrio.
The Magnificent Seven is the final film from composer James Horner, who died last year. The composer has also lent his music to Braveheart, Avatar, Titanic and the Star Trek films.
The film is out now at Weston’s Odeon.
