PSYCHOPATHIC killer Jigsaw is back with another cruel and twisted game in Saw III, which is showing at the Odeon in Weston this week. The crazed killer (Tobin Bell), who has terrified a community and baffled police by eluding capture, is aided by his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith) who carries out his gruesome plans.Cancer-ridden Jigsaw, aka John Cramer, is bedridden and on the verge of death, but determined to play out one last murderous fantasy. The scene of the torture chamber for the three unsuspecting victims is an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town. Deranged Amanda kidnaps Dr Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) and forces her to keep the madman alive for as long as it takes his victim Jeff (Angus Macfadyen) to complete a cruel game.Jeff is trapped in a freezer, which is getting colder by the minute, and must decide whether or not to save Denica, another of the psychopath's victims.Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through their gruelling tests, unaware that Jigsaw and Amanda have a much bigger plan for both of them.Fans of the first two films won't be disappointed as the latest edition is filled with more blood, gore and gruesome plots, definitely not for the faint-hearted.
