ONE of Shakespeare's darkest plays, Titus Andronicus, will be screened at The Odeon.

It revisits Lucy Bailey’s spectacular 2006 production, combining black comedy and terrible violence, and is the first production from The Globe theatre to be given a 15 certification.

Returning to Rome from war, general Titus Andronicus takes Queen Tamora and her three sons as prisoners, sparking a savage cycle of murder and mutilation.

The show from the Globe will be screened at the Odeon on April 9 at 7.30pm.

The Mercury has teamed up with the Odeon to offer two readers a pair of tickets to the screening.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final. By entering this competition you are agreeing to be contacted by Archant.

The competition will close at 9am on Monday.
