An evening of drama and culture awaits two pairs of lucky people who win tickets to see the latest National Theatre production showing at Weston-super-Mare's Odeon cinema next week.

Peaky Blinders actress Helen McCrory plays one of the greatest female roles in contemporary drama when she stars in Terence Rattigan’s devastating masterpiece The Deep Blue Sea.

Her co-star in Carrie Cracknell’s critically acclaimed new production is War And Peace and The Musketeers actor Tom Burke.

The story begins in a flat in Ladbroke Grove, West London in 1952 when Hester Collyer is found by her neighbours in the aftermath of a failed suicide attempt.

What follows is the revelation of her tempestuous affair with a former RAF pilot and the breakdown of her marriage to a high court judge.

The Mercury and the Odeon have teamed up to offer two pairs of tickets to the screening at 7pm on September 1.

The competition will close at 10am on Tuesday.

Usual Archant rules apply and the editor’s decision is final.
