Some of the most popular storybook characters are heading to the big screen in Disney’s Christopher Robin, which is showing at the Odeon in Weston.

In the film, the imaginative boy who went on adventures with his furry friends in the Hundred Acre Wood has become an adult.

The movie will gives fans the chance to see how life has changed for the loveable characters they first met in A A Milne’s classic tales.

Life has become difficult for the working-class family man and his childhood friend Winnie-the-Pooh enters the real world just when Christopher Robin needs him the most.

He is in an impossible position at work and is growing distant from his family.

He needs help – and who better to provide this than his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

When Pooh appears, he thinks he is losing his mind – but his childhood friend has a few more lessons for him.

The film helps audiences to relive their childhood by returning to the Hundred Acre Wood for one more adventure with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

Fans can expect plenty of nostalgia, tears and laughter.

Ewan McGregor stars as Christopher Robin and Hayley Atwell plays his wife Evelyn
in the film directed by Marc Forster.

Christopher Robin is guaranteed to have audiences reaching for the tissues as Pooh helps his chum to realise what is most important in life.
