AN ACOUSTIC guitar legend who performed on David Bowie's first album will be playing on a stage in Weston.

Keith Christmas, who appeared at the first Glastonbury Festival and toured with acts like The Who, King Crimson, Ten Years After, Frank Zappa and Roxy Music, will be singing to crowds at The Raglan Arms on Sunday.

Keith played in a blues band throughout the 80s and in 1996 he began to write a different kind of acoustic material which led to the release of a new album.

In January 2003 he released an instrumental CD entitled Acoustica and the opening track was used on the BBC documentary Hidden Gardens.

He is now writing for his next solo CD, as yet untitled.

You can check out Keith at the Upper Church Road venue from 8pm.
