Alpines prepare for gig at The Louisiana in Bristol

London-based duo Alpines are going on tour after releasing a new record last year, and will make an appearance in Bristol.

Guitarist and producer Bob Matthews and pianist and singer Catherine Pockson make up Alpines.

They formed in 2010 and went on to support The Naked And Famous, Emeli Sandé and Florence + The Machine.

They wrote and produced all the tracks on their debut album Oasis using their own record label Untrue Records.

They have followed it up with their latest album Another River.

This year, they are embarking on their own headline tour, with dates in both the UK and Europe.

Alpines will be at The Louisiana, in Wapping Road, on February 20 at 7.30pm.
