Ros Cuthbert will host the evening once again


AN EVENING of Brazilian, jazz and soul music favourites will be served up at Winscombe Cricket Club in The Lynch on Saturday.

The DIY Jazz Restaurant will hold another evening at the club from 8pm onwards, featuring American saxophonist Craig Crofton.

Singer Ros Cuthbert will once again host the evening and will perform alongside Anders Olinder on keyboard, Greg Cordez on double bass and Simon Gore on drums.

Crofton, the leader of the band Freight, has lived in the UK for 15 years and has previously played with the likes of John Fattis, Herb Harris, Pee Wee Ellis and Wynton Marsalis.

The audience is invited to bring their own food and drink.

Tickets, priced £8, are available on the door.
