MUSIC lovers will get the chance to banish the January blues when Reg Meuross takes to the stage in Bath.Billed as 'one of the most widely respected and underrated of British singer-songwriters', Reg, who has been performing roots-style music for two decades, will appear at The Rondo on Saturda (Jan 13) with his latest recruit Miranda Sykes. Miranda is best known as double bass player and singer for Show of Hands, one of England's most popular acoustic roots duos. Show of Hands has been nominated in two categories of the 2007 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.The evening promises to include Reg's trademark winning lyrics and catchy tunes.Tickets, priced £8.50, are available from the box office on 01225 463362. The well-known singer-songwriter will also be performing at St Michael's Church in Brent Knoll on February 24 with Miranda and Ray Dodds at 7.30pm.Tickets cost £9 or £6 for children, with a discount for booking before February 10, and are available on 01278 769093 or from Brent Knoll Post Office.
