THE Burnham and Highbridge Band will once again be performing at the Princess Hall, Burnham, July 29 at 7.45pm. A concert of old favourites will be given along with several new items that the band has been rehearsing during its winter season. The band is currently busy performing at local park bandstands including Wells, Taunton and Weston. The band would like to thank David Greenwood for stepping in to conduct when their popular director of music, David Fisher, recently spent a spell in hospital with pneumonia. He is well on the way to full recovery and they look forward to having him back in time to conduct at the Princess Hall in Princess Street. Tickets are available on the door priced £2.50 and £3.50.
