LOCAL bands have been gearing up for a cider-fuelled music festival by appearing at a Weston pub.

The Adge Cutler All Stars, Combyne Arvester and The Surfin’ Turnips will all appear at Scrumpstock at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge on June 2-3.

They warmed up for the event by treating an audience to music at a pre-festival gig at The Waverley pub in Severn Road on May 13.
