A colourful show will be performed by a Worle choir at the end of the month.

The Worle Community Choir has chosen a colours theme for this year’s spectacular summer concert.

The choir won their class at the Highbridge Festival Of The Arts earlier this year, and were awarded with a distinction and gold medal for the artistic and technical performance.

The Wonderful World Of Colours programme will feature a host of well-known songs including The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine and Sting’s Fields Of Gold.

The choir has 40 members, performing under the guidance of musical director Ben Gutsell.

The club meets at Becket Primary School, in Tavistock Road, every Thursday at 7.30pm.

The show will take place at Priory Community School, in Queensway, Worle, on June 30 at 7pm.

Tickets, priced £3-6, are available from 01934 622542 or 07972 909939.
