ONE of the original stars of blues rock, Grammy-nominated singer Beth Hart, is stopping off for a night in Bristol tomorrow (Friday) as part of her upcoming world tour.
To describe Hart’s career as a rollercoaster ride would be an understatement.
The Californian was destined for big things during the 1990s, with a major record deal, television slots, and hit singles to her name, including the hugely popular LA Song.
However, her career was derailed by drug and alcohol addiction, which led to a stint in rehab.
Hart made her musical comeback in 2003 with the album Leave The Light On and proceeded to build up a loyal following in the UK and Europe.
She went on to wow audiences with a show-stopping performance alongside Jeff Beck to honour the blues great Buddy Guy in 2012.
Shortly after, her 2013 release with Joe Bonamassa, Seesaw, received a Grammy nomination for Best Blues Album.
Beth Hart will be stopping off at Colston Hall in Bristol at 7pm on Friday.
Tickets, priced £26.88, are available from the box office on 0844 8871500 or online at www.colstonhall.org
