Bristol-based band Trip The Switch hope to wow the crowds in Weston-super-Mare.

The band are already causing quite a stir on the British neo-soul scene in the lead up to the release of their second album.

Their first self-titled album received high praise from fans with upbeat music and heartfelt catchy lyrics.

Trip The Switch are heavily influenced by Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and the early music by Maroon Five.

The band is made up of Jack Skus on vocals, Toby Andrews on guitar, Rich O’Brien on bass and Migs Andrews on drums.

The band’s performance will be the first in a string of new music nights at Weston’s Brit Bar which will aim to bring the very best in original music to Weston once a month.

Trip The Switch will be at The Brit Bar, in High Street, on February 24 at 9pm.

This event will be free to attend.

For more information on the bar’s line-up, visit their Facebook page.
