A UK chart-topper will be performing at Bristol’s illustrious Colston Hall this Christmas.

David Gray released his first album, The Century Ends, in 1993.

He rose to fame three years later following the release of his album White Ladder.

A Solo Acoustic Evening with David Gray is his first intimate, solo show in 20 years.

He will be performing songs like Sail Away, Say Hello and Babylon as well as a number of new tracks from his newest album, Greatest Hits.

Gray has been nominated for four BRIT awards.

Gray said: “This will be my first string of exclusively solo dates for more than 20 years and it’s an exciting and also slightly nerve-wracking prospect.

“The run-up to Christmas is always a great time to be playing shows and I’ve got a feeling this run is going to be special.”

David Gray will be at Colston Hall, in Colston Street, Bristol, at 7pm on December 18.

Tickets, priced £43-64.50, are available from 08448 871500 or online via www.colstonhall.org
