TWIN sisters Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas are performing in Weston as part of their bid to bring country music to the UK.
The two twenty-year-olds recently released their debut album From Where We Stand.
They grew up on a farm in Hampshire and were introduced to country music by a cousin in their early teens, Catherine Ward Thomas said they ‘fell hard’ for the genre and the pair have been performing it ever since.
The album was written entirely in the UK but the duo then flew to Nashville to record with some of country music’s most famous names, including Bobby Blazier and Dan Dugmore.
The free gig will take place at the Live Lounge in West Street on Wednesday at 8pm.
