Singer-songwriter Brooke Bentham is set to support American artist Soccer Mommy at the Thekla music venue in Bristol.

The 22-year-old artist from South Shields near Newcastle plays guitar and performs soulful alternative indie music to audiences across the country.

Brooke released her debut single, The Room Swayed, last year. She has since produced two more, Heavy And Ephemeral and I Need Your Body, which were played by BBC Radio 1 and 6Music.

She has also performed at UK festivals including Green Man, Reading and Latitude.

Brooke will support Soccer Mommy, who released her album Clean in March.

The Nashville singer produced her emotional album after quitting school.

Brooke and Soccer Mommy are set to perform in Bristol on September 11 with the event starting at 7pm.

Tickets, priced £10.25, are available from on 01158 964456.
