Chas and Dave.

Chas and Dave are taking their memorable songs and humour to The Playhouse in Weston-super-Mare.

The pair have been performing together for 50 years, arriving on the music scene with hits such as Rabbit and Margate.

They have played to thousands of people at Glastonbury Festival in both 2005 and 2007 and Bestival in 2012.

Their contribution to popular culture was recognised through a BBC Four documentary, charting their career and influence.

They also took part in the 70th anniversary VE Day celebrations at Royal Horse Guards Parade alongside the likes of Status Quo and Katherine Jenkins.

Their most recent album, That’s What Happens, was their first in 27 years.

They returned to their roots in the record with some rock and roll classics, alongside new takes of their own songs.

It guest-starred a number of performers, including Jools Holland and Hugh Laurie.

They are now back on the road, and will perform at The Playhouse on August 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £29.50 and £31.50, are available from 01934 645544 or online at
