Choir’s performance in town

PUBLISHED: 12:00 04 August 2012

SOME of the finest voices in the South West will belt out a variety of classic numbers at a concert in Weston.

The Bristol Male Voice Choir, which has performed with Bryn Terfel, Aled Jones and jazz musician Acker Bilk, will perform at the Victoria Methodist Church in Station Road on September 1 at 7.30pm.

The event is being organised by the Moose International, and will see the choir supported by the U3A Poetry Group, who will perform some of their own light-hearted compositions.

Tickets are priced £10, and are available from The Heritage Centre Café in Wadham Street, Weston, or on the door.
