A choir hopes to bring joy and happiness to a town’s theatre in a bid to raise money for a much-loved charity.

The Cheddar Male Choir will perform a selection of light-hearted music with a nautical theme in Burnham-on-Sea to raise money for the town’s RNLI.

The men will be joined by Burnham’s Coastline Singers and the U3A Ukulele band.

Co-organiser Jan Johnston said: “Do not miss the opportunity to listen to the talented Cheddar Male Choir and supporting groups, as they deliver a wide range of popular music.”

There will also be a raffle on the night, with all proceeds going to the RNLI.

The concert will be at the Princess Theatre, in Princess Street, at 7pm on July 1.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from Burnham’s RNLI shop, in High Street, or from the theatre.
