BRISTOL Choral Society presents a feast of Baroque musical delights in Bristol Cathedral on June 11 at 7.30pm.

Entrées of Bach, in the form of two of his motets (Komm, Jesu, Komm and Lobet den Herrn), plus the vibrant Orchestral Suite No.2 lead on to the main course: Handel’s Dixit Dominus - the astonishing and almost relentlessly energertic and virtuosic work by the 22-year old composer.

The choir will be joined by a cast of fine soloists and Baroque specialists the Corelli Orchestra under conductor Adrian Partington.

Tickets, priced £8-20, are available from 0117 965 7822.
