Genre-defying progressive rock band Coheed And Cambria will headline a Bristol music festival, this August.

The new York-based band will headline the Thursday night of the award-winning ArcTanGent festival.

The three day event at Fernhill Farm, in Compton Martin, brings together the best in ‘offbeat, idiosyncratic guitar-based music.’

Coheed And Cambria said: “ArcTangent feels like a festival designed to inspire the audience and we’re excited to be a part of the experience.”

Organiser, James Scarlet added: “Coheed fit perfectly into our lineage of incredible artists. They are left-leaning, experimental, a bit weird and, most importantly they sound only like themselves – if you haven’t heard In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 go listen now.”

ArcTanGent takes over Ferhill Farm, In Compton Martin from August 15-18.

Tickets priced £60-£185 are available at arctangent.co.uk
