A country singer making waves in the Irish charts is heading to Weston-super-Mare next month to deliver a show inspired by the country and western sounds of his childhood.
Liverpool-born Nathan Carter is headlining at The Playhouse, in High Street, on September 15.
Carter will be performing songs from his latest album – Stayin Up All Night – which powered him to the top of the Irish album charts.
Carter’s style is inspired by the heritage of his parents, who were born in Newry, County Down – the heartland of Irish county music.
The Liverpudlian draws inspiration from country-greats Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, and learned to played the guitar, piano and accordion from the age of four.
Tickets for this show are priced at £25.50 and can be purchased from the box office on 01934 645544 or online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
