Daz’s Rock 4 Charity is returning to Weston-super-Mare with a music event to help a man with Parkinson’s.

Darren ‘Daz’ Sims first started organising charity concerts in 2007 and has raised more than £250,000 in the years since then.

He often supports children’s charities, but also helps individuals with their fundraising.

He will be performing at the Borough Arms, in Locking Road, to raise money for a chair lift for Barry Jones, who has dementia and Parkinson’s.

Daz will be joined by 10-year-old Elliot who has been performing alongside him at various gigs around the town, including one at the Grand Pier.

There will also be a raffle, auction and other singers are planning to join in too.

Daz’s Rock 4 Charity will be at the Borough Arms, in Locking Road, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Entry is free, but donations are welcome.
