A singing group will bring their Christmas tour to pubs this weekend to raise money for Weston RNLI.

Des Henly’s Singers and Stummers will perform with local violinist Jayne Stark at three venues across the town.

Jayne has performed in Berlin and Istanbul as well as being part of the Vivaldi Double Concerto and BBC Proms In The Park.

She has also starred as a backing musician on the X Factor and with The Michael Jackson – Symphony Experience.

Des Henly’s group of guitarists and singers, who he teaches, will perform alongside Jayne at The Regency, in Lower Church Road, at 7.30pm on Saturday.

This will be followed by The Claremont Vaults, in Birnbeck Road, at 8.30pm and finishing at The New Inn, in Crookes Lane in Kewstoke, at 9.30pm.

The Christmas tour will aim to raise money for the RNLI’s new lifeboat station.
