A popular indie band from down under will showcase their sounds on a South West stage next month.

Australian trio DMA’s will perform at Bristol’s O2 Academy, in Frogmore Street, on May 21 at
7pm.

The Sydney-based band’s debut album, Hills End, earned critical acclaim upon its release in 2016, and big things are expected of their new record, For Now, which will hit shelves and streaming sites in late-April.

The new album was produced in tandem with Kim Moyes from The Presets, and promises to be a ‘gloriously uplifting album of beautifully honed, passionately emotive rock songs’.

DMA’s sounds are heavily influenced by the Britpop era, and fans of the likes Depeche Mode
are certain to enjoy this performance in front of an exuberant crowd.

Tickets for this show, priced £17.40, are available from 08444 772000 or online at www.academymusic
