FOUR of Weston's most talented musicians will be back on stage on Friday night, quashing rumours they had put down their guitars and drumsticks for good.Eastertown's Mark Ely, Gavin Cox, Paul Newton and Gary Widlake are believed to have parted company briefly last month, but the lure of the stage has proved too hard to resist.Bass player Paul said: "On the back end of our recent split we have decided to do a one-off, final, farewell, all guns blazing, do-or-die, no-holds barred gig."If you can't get to it, we will probably do another final one-off gig in perhaps six to eight weeks time, and another one in October."After this series of unique, end-of-the-road gigs, we expect to split up again in early November, which leaves us just enough time to organise some farewell concerts in December as a final thank you to our ever appreciative fans. Who knows what 2007 has in store?"Eastertown will be live on stage at the Back Bar, High Street, at about 9pm.Paul added: "It's really a case of be there, or miss an opportunity to witness what will be, quite simply, a night of quality songs played with thought and passion.
