Electronic duo ready for stage

PUBLISHED: 10:00 15 April 2017

An electronic pop duo whose music is inspired by horror, sex and obsession will visit Bristol later this month.

Plaitum have just released their debut album Constraint and will be performing tracks from it at the Crofters Rights in Bristol.

Their music is littered with piecing synths, pop melodies and skittish beats.

Matt Cannon, one half of the duo, said: “The album itself is vaguely conceptual in that it follows an exploitative relationship through different points of view, to tell one story.”

Plaitum will be at Crofters Rights in Stokes Croft on April 20.

They will be supported by William The Conquered and Mont and doors will open at 7pm.

The gig is for over-18s only and tickets, priced £5.75, are available by searching for Plaitum on www.alttickets.com
