Everybody get up for Five

HIT 1990s boy band Five are back after appearing on the big reunion and are set to perform a date at the O2 Academy in Bristol.
They may be down to three members now after Abz Love decided to leave the group last year, but Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville and Scott Robinson are set to bring all of the band’s classic hits back to life on stage in Bristol.
The band was formed in 1997 by the same team that managed the Spice Girls and were a huge hit in the UK as well as across Europe and Asia.
But, despite selling more than 20 million records worldwide the band split in 2001.
ITV’s documentary series, The Big Reunion, saw them reunite as four in 2013, minus one of the band’s original members, Jason J Brown.
After the success of the show, the new-look group toured and even performed at South West Live in Weston last summer.
The show promises some of their well-known tracks including Slam Dunk (Da Funk), Got The Feelin’ and Everybody Get Up.
The event will take place at Bristol’s O2 Academy on April 16 from 7pm.
Tickets, priced £30, are available from 08444 772000 or via www.o2academybristol.co.uk
