WESTON museum will host a unique evening of film and folk song heritage this month.

Windrose Rural Media Trust and folk artist Mrs Price’s Parlour will be combining local film archive with traditional folk songs from Somerset.

The songs are from a collection by Cecil Sharp and have been chosen to compliment the films and the exhibitions at the museum in Burlington Street. John and Angela Shaw from the Hotwell Howlers will also be guest performers at the event.

The event will take place on October 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £6, are available from the museum on 01934 621028.
