Finnish star to perform in Bristol

A European blues guitarist and singer hopes to make waves in Bristol next month.

Erja Lyytinen has spent 15 years climbing up the music ladder in European blues scene.

The Finnish star is now described as a bona fide star in her homeland and a fixture on the international music scene.

Her more recent single, The Sky Is Crying, pays homage to her childhood hero, the late Elmore James.

Her new album, Stolen Hearts, reveals a new side of Lyytinen’s musical persona.

The album is focuses on heartbreak, frustration, disappointment, fear of loss as well as love.

Lyytinen blends jazz, pop, soul and rock to create a new and interesting sound which promises to excite and entice the Bristol audience.

Erja Lyytinen will be at The Tunnels, based in the Bristol and Exeter House in Lower Station Approach, at 7.30pm on September 26.
