Folk singer Richard Digance to perform in Weston-super-Mare

A unique artist who has supported Sir Tom Jones in concert and performed alongside Brian May is bringing his original music to The Playhouse Theatre.
Richard Digance is a popular comedian and folk singer who has supported some of the biggest names in the music industry since starting his career in the 1970s.
He released his debut album England’s Green And Pleasant Land in 1974 and has since supported comedians Steve Martin and Robin Williams, as well as performing a guitar duet with Queen legend Brian May.
Digance has received multiple awards and nominations in both the music and entertainment industries, including a BAFTA nomination as a TV entertainer.
The London-born guitarist starred in multiple Saturday night TV specials for ITV, where he met guest stars Elkie Brooks, Marc Cohn and Joe Pasquale.
Digance came to the public attention following a series of appearances on Live From... where he performed at the Piccadilly and the Palladium.
The folk singer has performed at a number of major music festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe and Cropredy Festival throughout his career.
Richard Digance will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, Weston, at 7.30pm on November 13.
