The Chicago Blues Brothers are back, complete with their trademark pork pie hats and sunglasses – but this time, they are armed with a new stage set and fresh moves.

The brothers, aka Jake and Elwood, are returning to the UK with their brand new Jailbreak Tour.

They started performing together in 1978 and first appeared on the NBC show Saturday Night Live. Since then they have earned themselves a number of accolades and awards, becoming the most successful Blues Brothers tribute.

The show features a nine-piece live band and is packed with more than two hours of the very best blues, motown and soul music – along with some comedy thrown in for good measure.

Jake and Elwood will perform hits from both the Blues Brothers movies, including Everybody Needs Somebody, Gimme Some Lovin and Sweet Home Chicago, as well as classics from James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Otis Redding.

The Chicago Blues Brothers will be at The Playhouse in High Street, Weston-super-Mare, on August 12 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £11 for children, £24.50 for adults or £23.50 for over-60s and can be bought by calling 01934 645544 or online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
