HOT on the heels of the release of Funeral For A Friend’s critically-acclaimed fifth studio album, the band has announced a new crop of headline dates – which includes Bristol.

After performing at a variety of festivals, the Welsh rockers will be heading to the O2 academy Bristol later this year.

Their continued ability to command significant festival audiences with their ever-evolving live set, is testament to the band’s longevity and consistent popularity and their latest album, Welcome Home Armageddon, has gone down well with fans.

Vocalist Matt Davies-Kreye said: “We are beyond excited to be hitting the road again in October around the UK bringing forth our musical version of Armageddon. The last UK tour was just the tip of the iceberg, this time it’s going to be hardcore.”

Support acts on the tour will include US rockers Escape The Fate, The Amity Affliction and The Bunny The Bear.

Funeral For A Friend’s latest single, Broken Foundation, has just been released following the band’s set at Download Festival and the band are looking forward to bringing their new material to the masses on the headline tour, as well as at forthcoming festival dates.

Tickets for the Bristol show on October 29, priced £16.50, are available at www.o2academybristol.co.uk
