Future Dub Orchestra set for Imperial gig

Reggae and dub will be on offer at a gig at The Imperial pub this weekend when Future Dub Orchestra performs.

Future Dub Orchestra is the work of songwriter, producer and musician JT Clarke, who traces his passion for music back to his youth hearing music at St Paul’s Carnival in Bristol.

He went on to get inspiration from many talented Bristolian musicians ranging from fun and soul to hip-hop and drum and bass.

Clarke cut his musical teeth during an apprenticeship with the Coach House Studios in Clifton, which gave us bands such as Massive Attack and Portishead.

Future Dub Orchestra is a collective of musicians working under the guidance of Clarke and its set up varies from a four-piece band right up to a full orchestra.

They will be live at The Imperial in South Parade, Weston, on Saturday. The performance will begin at 9pm.
