THE former lead singer of a world renowned band will be reliving his greatest hits at The Playhouse, Weston, later this month.

THE former lead singer of a world renowned band will be reliving his greatest hits at The Playhouse, Weston, later this month.Scottish singer-songwriter and former Genesis frontman Ray Wilson will perform an anthology of hits called The World of Genesis on June 30.Ray replaced Phil Collins as Genesis' lead singer in 1996, co-writing their successful album Calling All Stations, which reached number two in the charts.During the late 90s Ray performed to sell-out audiences across the globe.The talented vocalist has also fronted popular rock band Stiltskin, who had the number one hit Inside, has toured and headlined with the mighty folk legend Bob Dylan, and has had a successful solo career.In The World of Genesis, Ray and his four-piece band perform two hours of classic songs.Ray said: "It will feature songs I performed on tour with Genesis, as well as personal favourites from Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and my own solo career."The World of Genesis provides a unique ride through the past decades of Genesis and Ray Wilson, and an opportunity to enjoy classic tracks and anecdotes with one of the band's lead singers.The performance will start at 8pm.
