OPERA fans are invited to a free concert of classical arias and pop tunes in August.Professional tenor and songwriter Tim Pitman, of Radstock, will perform at Sanders GardenWorld in Brent Knoll on August 23 from 2-4pm.Tim's manager Victor Spark said: "Tim will be performing a wide variety of songs during the concert ranging from classic pop songs from the 1950s and 60s, including tunes from Roy Orbison and Sam Cooke, through to classical arias made famous by renowned tenors such as Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza, Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli."Tim was the first ever singer and songwriter to be awarded a grant from The Prince's Trust in 1993 after performing in front of Prince Charles."He has a superb voice and is a real talent. People should take up this opportunity to see a great singer performing free on a summer afternoon.
