A live tribute to some of the biggest bands of the 1980s will take place at a village club this weekend.Heroes, who base their music on bands such as Madness, The Police, The Jam and The Clash, will perform at Winscombe Cricket Clubhouse on Saturday.The Kent-based band tour Britain and abroad on a full-time basis and have been labelled by some as the country's best 1980s live tribute band. Driss Holden plays bass and provides lead vocals, Tim Bradley is on guitar and Ivo Barieri is on drums. They will be performing two sets during the evening starting at 9pm. The bar shuts at 1am.Tickets, priced £5, are available from the cricket clubhouse off The Lynch or Top 10 Videos in Woodborough Road, Winscombe.
