WESTON’S own hit band Racey will be entertaining festive revellers this weekend.

Racey, which achieved worldwide success in the late 1970s and early 80s, will be performing at the Back Bar on Saturday.

The four-piece band, which still includes founder members Clive Wilson and Phil Fursdon, will be playing from 9.30pm and entry is free.

Clive told the Mercury: “Racey always looks forward to playing locally at Christmas, seeing lots of familiar faces and everyone just having a great time.”

The band will be playing all their hits including Lay Your Love On Me, Some Girls, Boy Oh Boy, Runaround Sue and Kitty, plus some classic rock, pop and roll.
