AFTER a busy summer of festival appearances and off the back of releasing a new album, electro act Hot Chip will be ready for the floor once more in a new UK tour.

The six-piece will perform at Bristol’s O2 Academy on October 15 as part of an eight-date tour across the country.

The band first struck gold with breakthrough single Over and Over, and have continued to cement their place as one of the best electro acts in the country with albums such as Made In The Dark and One Life Stand.

This year they have released their fifth album, In Our Heads, which was produced by the band and Mark Ralph and made it into the UK top 15.

The band’s busy summer is not yet over, with appearances at the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland and Bestival on the Isle of Wight still to come.

Their tour will kick off on October 8, and they will be supported on the Bristol date by emerging psychedelic quartet Django Django.

Tickets for the show are priced £17.50 and are available from
