THE most famous twins in music - apart from the Goss and Gibb brothers and Jedward - are heading to Bristol next month.

The Proclaimers have earned a huge cult following since their debut album release in 1987, and once again proved a hot ticket on the UK festival scene this summer.

Raucous sing-along tunes like I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Letter From America propelled identical twins Craig and Charlie Reid to stardom in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but the duo are still churning out new material.

New album Like Comedy is actually their ninth studio collection, and is as packed full of wit and catchy melodies as ever before.

And their gig at Bristol’s O2 Academy on October 24 promises to showcase a blend of new material and crowd-pleasing favourites, all performed with their trademark Scottish lilt.

Tickets are priced at £24.50, and are available from www.o2academybristol.co.uk or on 0117 9279227.
