POPULAR Weston band Eastertown will be entertaining fans old and new at a town centre pub on Saturday night (Oct 21).The four-piece outfit made up of Mark Ely, Gavin Cox, Gary Widlake and Paul Newton will be taking to the stage at The Imperial, South Parade, Weston, at about 9pm.Guitarist Gavin said: "This is the second of a series of seemingly never ending 'last' gigs. The big crowd and response we received at a recent performance at the Back Bar suggested we were beginning to convert a whole new audience to our particular blend of self-penned music."We play with passion, belief, enthusiasm and energy and I think we are benefiting from the recent wave of renewed interest in live music. We are looking to stick around and entertain for a little longer than our 'last gig' statements of late may have suggested."Fans are advised to turn up to the gig early.
