AN EVENING of music set to stir the soul is promised at Loves Café in Weston this week.
Julia Biel brings her sharp perspective on love and life and a strong reputation in the music business to the West Street venue at 9pm tomorrow (Fri).
She kick-started her career by being crowned Perrier Jazz Vocalist of the Year in 2000, and has since expanded her reputation through regular collaborations with the likes of Mercury Prize-nominated cult jazz act Polar Bear.
And she followed up her early success with recognition as a rising star by the BBC in their jazz awards in 2006, and continues to dazzle audiences with her self-penned material.
Popular singer Luke Potter will also be performing tomorrow, starting at 7pm.
